Licensed Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in affirming care with neurodivergent individuals (e.g., autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, etc.) across the lifespan, as well as those who identify as LGBTQIA+. I prioritize a strengths-based and collaborative approach. Working together to build on the resilience you already have and honoring the identities, values, and lived experiences that shape your story. I rely on flexible use of evidence‑based practices to ensure that the strategies we use are grounded in research and aligned with what is most effective for your needs. It is my honor to work with folks to learn more about who they are, how their brains work, and help them move toward their goals. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging out with my wife and our dog, engaging in one of approximately 1,000 different hobbies!

Approach:

My therapeutic approach is non-judgmental, eclectic, and human first. My priority is to meet you where you are and empower you to live a life aligned with your goals and values. I have training and experience in a variety of therapeutic approaches and tend to draw on tools from across the field to complement my eclectic style. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Areas of Specialty:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • AuDHD
  • Executive Functioning
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma-focused therapy
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Psychological evaluations: autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and co-occurring disorders

Education:

I earned my PhD in clinical psychology at Florida State University and my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver. I completed my doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at UTHealth Houston. There, I specialized in lifespan autism assessment and treatment, along with trauma-focused psychotherapy.
