Whether you’re seeking therapy or evaluation for the first time, looking for a better fit for your therapeutic relationship, or have taken a hiatus and hoping to get back into the swing of things, taking that first step and reaching out is often the hardest. We all seek therapy for di erent reasons. However, I tend to believe we all want the same thing when we step through those doors: to feel truly seen, to be deeply heard, and to understand that we’re not alone.

Approach:

I believe in practicing deep presence in all the work I do, prioritizing first being where my feet are. When a patient sits with me, I want them to know and trust that my attention is completely with them. Taking a person-centered approach, I seek to cocreate a safe space with individuals that honors their needs and goals for the work we will do together. We do not exist in isolation, nor do our problems arise in a vacuum. I aim to understand the ecology and systems that surround and impact my patients, including family, relationships, school, work, and our larger culture. Using a client-centered focus, I work to reconnect clients with themselves. I love using somatic and nature-based therapeutic modalities to help others better regulate, relate, and reason.

I am currently earning my doctorate in school psychology (PsyD) from the University of Colorado Denver. I spent two years gaining fieldwork experience in the JeCo Public Schools District, with experience working with and evaluating culturally and linguistically diverse students and families. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and have had rich experiences working in community health settings, facilitating peer-driven mental health and sobriety support groups, and advocating for the voiceless.
