Navigating life and stressors can be challenging to do alone. Over the years, I have encountered struggles with identity, mental health, and societal pressures which have been overwhelming at times. Learning to find community and lean on others for support has helped me in finding new perspectives and tools to work towards a better sense of self and a stronger wellbeing. I hope to be a resource to help you do the same. My goal is to work with you in discovering and developing your strengths, goals, and building your social-emotional toolbox.
Approach:
My goal is to establish a trusting and collaborative relationship with each individual. Getting to know you and your story while creating a safe space with acceptance and respect is most important as we work together. I am here to listen and learn from you, while working to help you grow in the way you’d wish, and navigate the challenges you might encounter.
As each individual is unique, my therapeutic approach incorporates multiple psychological theories as it depends on your needs. It is important to me that my practices are affirming towards your identity and best fit your needs. I am also certified in the Neurosequential model, which uses a neurobiological and trauma-informed lens of care.
